Lightning Ridge to Home

A quick 3 day trip home via some back roads we have never used. Yvonne is looking forward to a visit from her cousin Faylene & her husband, Kevin

                                                    The historic Hebel pub. (shitbox)

Morning tea at the not so inviting Hebel water supply lagoon.

Then the exceptionally good short cut to lunch at Thallon

Arrived in Nindigully on a very warm afternoon for an overnight stay.

                                                               Pre-dinner drinks at the pub.

                                                             A plastic cow.

                                                                   Nindigully pub, had dinner there.

Nindigully water supply, very low very stagnant.

Nindigully is on the Moonie river.

Breakfast on the banks of the Moonie.

                                                                        Camp Moonie.

The big bell at Condamine, the most exciting thing in town.

Old plate steel boats used on the Condamine.

Last night out camped at the Chinchilla weir. It's almost dry

                                                                   The weir wall.

Pano of the bridge near the weir.

The vege patch survived quite well while we were gone.
