Country Music & Penguins

Off again on a short trip of around 2 or so weeks. First to the Gympie country Music Muster for 3 nights & then hopefully to meet up with Mark & Sue & head down to Lightning Ridge for the Penguin Muster. We liked Lightning Ridge a lot on our last trip & so look forward to spending a few more days there. I was unable to buy any giant marshmallows for the campfire so I have manufactured my own. They seem to have turned out extremely well.

                     Arriving at Amamoor camp site. We ended up just a short walk from the venue.

                            Last night (Thursday) at the Iron Jack bar. He was pretty good.

                      Our camp ground. There are many of these scattered around the venue, with an                                                       attendance of around 20,000 people. Great atmosphere.
